Who works where
OsoAhia puts each person on the screen they work from. These guides cover the shop floor and the owner workspace.
Owner
The owner works in the business workspace.
- Sets up the organization, locations, and team
- Sees the current plan. Paid tools are not self-serve switches
- Confirms opening books before anyone sells
- Can sell from Sell when covering the counter
- Can prepare Daily Close, including when they work alone
- Owns banking finalize, tax settings, posting maps, and period lock
- Can share stock with another shop from Inventory, Sharing
Sign in as the owner when you need settings or books. Keep this login off the till.
Manager
The manager lands on the till like a shop-floor lead.
- Sells, voids, counts stock, and prepares Daily Close
- Cannot turn paid tools on, import bank statements, finalize reconciliation, or invite owners
- Cannot add products or write cost. That is owner work
Cashier
The cashier lands on the till.
- Sells, reprints receipts, and checks shop stock
- Looks up a customer at the till
- Starts Daily Close (count, then send for review)
- Does not see cost price, leftover reports, or warehouse intake
- Cannot finish Daily Close, change accounting policy, or import bank statements
If a cashier needs a new product, a stock correction, or a void they are not allowed to do, that is owner or manager work.
Accountant
The accountant lands on Reports.
- Posts journals, reviews Daily Close, and files
- Can review and resolve bank lines
- Does not change tax settings, posting maps, or lock periods
Runner
A linked runner works from their own phone, not the till.
- Searches linked store stock, reserves a pickup, carries a bag, and logs field sales
- Settles credit on the runner wallet
- Does not count those sales as till cash for Daily Close
The owner links the runner from Runners. The phone steps live on Runner phone.
Getting a shop live
A new shop starts as a public request. You sign in when you have a password, then finish guided setup: opening books, stock, bank, then the first sales. Those pages live under Get started.
If someone only reads the books, they use Reports. These pages assume a shop that sells.
